HOW TO MAKE A DONATION

The charity Pancreatic Cancer UK is a voluntary organization with no salaried staff and minimal administrative costs. To date any costs have been covered by the trustees and supporters.

We are raising funds for projects to enable earlier detection and diagnosis and improved treatment of pancreatic cancer through research and awareness and for improved support and information for patients and their families.

We currently rely on fundraising activities and voluntary donations so any contribution you feel you could make is vital.

There are many ways to make a donation:

You can make a donation online through the Justgiving website which is easy and secure. Click on www.justgiving.com/pcuk/donate

You can send a cheque or postal order. Cheques should be made payable to:

Pancreatic Cancer UK and sent to

Pancreatic Cancer UK
31 Brooklyn Drive
Emmer Green
Reading
Berkshire
RG4 8SR

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can make your donation go further through Gift Aid. If you download ,complete and send to us the Gift Aid Declaration(pdf) with your donation, you enable us to claim back 28p from the tax man for every £1 that you donate at no extra cost to you.

The Justgiving website also has an option to enable you to add Gift Aid to your donation.

We can also accept Charities Aid Foundation cheques.

You can make regular donations with a Standing Order.

Setting up a Standing Order Giving by Standing Order is an agreement between you and your bank to make a regular donation to Pancreatic Cancer UK which is under your complete control. The amount you give is up to you and for your convenience payments are automatically transferred from your bank or building society. You are able to make those donations on a regular basis on the date of your choice.

If you would like to set up a Standing Order, please download the Standing Order form (PDF). You will need to print the form out, fill it in and sign as appropriate, then return to us in the post. We will send it to your bank after updating our records.

Gift Aid Under the Gift Aid scheme, Pancreatic Cancer UK can reclaim the tax made on donations. This means that we can get 28 per cent more money, at no extra cost to you. So if you are a UK taxpayer, please tick the box in the Gift Aid section on the Standing Order form (PDF).
