The initial meeting gave an opportunity for people in a similar situation to share experiences, which was highly valued and will provide the basis for our next meeting.

The group will continue to be facilitated by two experienced nurses and we will explore which topics, e.g. diet & nutrition, treatment & side effects, the group would like to have speakers invited to talk about for subsequent meetings.

The aim was set up a patient/carer support network for people affected by pancreatic or bile duct cancer enabling patients and carers to meet others in a similar situation and share experiences.
