Community Involvement Coordinator - Northern Ireland

Location: Home-based with extensive travel in Northern Ireland, and occasional visits to the London office
Part Time, temporary until December 2015
Closing date: 30th January 2015
Interviews will be held in Belfast on Wednesday February 11th

This is an exciting time to join the team as Pancreatic Cancer UK is a fast growing charity. We are expanding our Services team to include an increased regional presence to further enhance awareness and support of pancreatic cancer.

The Community Involvement Coordinator will work closely with the Pancreatic Cancer UK specialist nurse in the region ensuring the promotion and development of the charity and its services amongst supporters and key stakeholders. 

This is a pilot post initially to the end of 2015 subject to review.

Fundraising Events Intern

We're recruiting a Fundraising Events Intern who is looking to gain experience within a busy Fundraising Team. We're looking for an intern who can show a genuine interest in the aims of the charity and be keen to learn new skills and be involved in all aspects of our work. This would be the perfect opportunity to gain the experience and skills needed to begin a career in fundraising.

You’ll need to be adaptable and hard-working. The environment is fast paced and you will need to learn new skills quickly. The Fundraising Events Intern will be managed by the Fundraising Officer and will primarily be working on the 2015 Virgin Money London Marathon, with ad hoc work on other spring running events. You will need to be available to work the occasional evening or weekend to attend fundraising events.
