Pancreatic Cancer UK is the only national charity fighting pancreatic cancer on all fronts: Support, Information, Campaigning and Research. Following our Study for Survival in 2011, Pancreatic Cancer UK launched the Campaign for Hope which sets out two ambitious goals:
- to double five-year pancreatic cancer survival rates within five years
- to change the NHS experience of pancreatic cancer patients from being one of the worst to one of the best.
This is an exciting time for the Charity as we are expanding our services team to enable us to establish a regional presence across the UK and our research and campaigning activities are growing. The main purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Operations Department.
We are looking for someone with experience of provide a high level of administrative support ideally within a charity, the NHS or services organisation. You’ll need to have excellent organisational, IT and communication skills, to adopt a proactive approach to your work and the ablility to demonstrate empathy to people affected by pancreatic cancer.

Community Involvement Coordinator - West Midlands
Part time pro rata from full time equivalent of £17.5k pa
Contract: 9 months temoporary, subject to review
Hours: Two days a week during pilot to be worked flexibly with the potential for additional hours subject to the development of the role.
Home based with extensive travel in West Midlands and occasional visits to London office
We are expanding our Services team to include an increased regional presence to further enhance awareness and support of pancreatic cancer.
The Community Involvement Coordinator will work closely with the Pancreatic Cancer UK specialist nurse in the region ensuring the promotion and development of the charity and its services amongst supporters and key stakeholders.
