Community and Events Officer

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Location: Head Office, Vauxhall

This is an exciting opportunity to join Pancreatic Cancer UK, a fast growing charity determined to make a difference to those affected by pancreatic cancer. We help by providing support and information to those affected, and provide hope towards a better future through our awareness raising and the funding of vital research.

With the support of the Community and Events Manager, this post will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of fundraising activities such as RideLondon 100, Tough Mudder, our national fundraiser Host for Hope, and Call Everyone Dave Day - our digital fundraising campaign. This will involve budgeting, logistics and marketing. In addition to this the post holder will deliver excellent supporter engagement and build strong relationships with key Individuals and community groups so to increase their fundraising and involvement with Pancreatic Cancer UK.

We are looking for a passionate and driven fundraiser, who has a proven track record of delivering results. Excellent organisational skills and communications skills are important in this role as well as being a team player. Experience of managing projects, meeting deadlines and coping with a busy workload is essential.
