Medical Advisory Board

Pancreatic Cancer UK's Medical Advisory Board has been established to support the Charity in all its work but with particular emphasis on:

  • Advising the Charity on clinical and scientific developments
  • Advising our services team on complex clinical queries that arise from service users
  • Supporting the development of information resources for patients, families and carers
  • Supporting other service developments, for example, online services  or resources for health professionals
  • Supporting the development of policy and campaigning activities
  • Supporting the development of the Charity's formal positions and statements - for example, in response to media enquires

  • Professor Jeff Evans: Professor of translational cancer research/Consultant, Beaton Cancer Centre (Glasgow) 
  • Dr Pippa Corrie: Consultant and associate lecturer medical oncology, Addenbrookes Cambridge 
  • Professor John Neoptolemos: Professor of Surgery, Royal Liverpool University Hospital 
  • Dr Murthy Lakkar: Consultant (retired), Interest in non-invasive procedures
