Pancreatic Cancer UK is the only national charity fighting pancreatic cancer on all fronts: Support, Information, Campaigning and Research.

Following our Study for Survival in 2011, Pancreatic Cancer UK launched the Campaign for Hope which sets out two ambitious goals:
• to double five-year pancreatic cancer survival rates within five years
• to change the NHS experience of pancreatic cancer patients from being one of the worst to one of the best.

Community and Events Manager - Maternity Cover

We are looking for an experienced, resourceful and enthusiastic Community and Events Manager to join our team as a Maternity cover.

We are looking for a dynamic leader to manage and support our fundraising team to help make a difference and contribute towards our vision of a long and good life for everyone diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

The postholder will manage the delivery of some of the charities key annual events such as the London Marathon and Royal Parks Half Marathon, our bespoke overseas challenges and support our community fundraisers and In memory donors as well as develop new fundraising initatives for the charity.

This is a great opportunity to work with real autonomy in a fast moving, innovative environment, in a rapidly growing organisation.
