How are the costs of the event covered?
This will depend on the company you sign up with for your event.
At Pancreatic Cancer UK we have partnered with Skyline because they
provide excellent support to fundraisers with reaching targets as
well as for training and preparing for their challenge.
Skyline sets a minimum sponsorship goal with a deposit which
equates to a 50% split to cover the costs of the event and send a
donation to the charity. Anything over and above the minimum
sponsorship level will be added to the donation sent to Pancreatic
Cancer UK.
What support does Pancreatic Cancer UK offer challenge event
participants?
The support we offer for challenge events can depend on what the
event is, but the most basic support we offer will be
- sponsorship forms for offline donation collection
- Tips on how to create and promote and online fundraising
page
- A t-shirt to wear for anyone raising a minimum of £100
We also recommend that anyone doing a challenge event consider
hosting multiple community events to help them
reach or even exceed the minimum sponsorship level.
We can also help with:
- fundraiser support pack
- merchandise on sale or return
- sponsor forms for offline donations
- Tweeter and Facebook coverage for online promotions
- training guides
- poster templates
- t-shirts
- balloons
- collection buckets/tins
- information and support to help with community events
