What is In Memory
giving?
In Memory giving is a lasting way to remember someone special to
you who has passed away. Here at Pancreatic Cancer UK we believe in
the importance of celebrating the lives of those no longer with us
- which is why we offer support with creating In Memory
Tributes.
Remembering a loved one lost to pancreatic cancer through the
creation of an In Memory Tribute is a wonderful way to celebrate
their life while also contributing to a more hopeful future for
patients and families affected by this disease.
Each donation is a tribute to someone special while also
contributing essential financial support to ensure we can continue
funding the fight against pancreatic cancer on all
fronts.
You can personalise the look, upload photos and videos, and keep
a journal on your site. Friends and family can add their thoughts,
share stories and pictures and make a donation in memory of your
loved one.
When you're holding multiple events or there are many friends
and family members doing different fundraising events this is also
a wonderful way to see the total raised.
When you set up an In Memory Tribute with
Pancreatic Cancer UK:
... you will get a personalised URL for your In Memory Tribute
page with the name of your loved one which allows for ease of
sharing amongst family and friends.
... you will receive regular updates from the charity on how we
are working towards a more hopeful future for pancreatic cancer
patients and their families and how your funds are helping us to do
this.
... you will be given full fundraising support for any
activities you or your family and friends are organising as a part
of your In Memory Tribute.
How do I set up an In Memory
Tribute?
Creating an In Memory Tribute page is a simple five-step
process. It will only take a couple of minutes and you may go back
and edit your site at any time.
- Firstly click on this link to go to the In Memory website: http://pancanuk123.muchloved.org
- Click on the "Create a Tribute" image at the top left of the In
Memory page.
- Follow the website prompts to enter any information you would
like to share, and to change the look of your In Memory tribute
page.
