This section contains the stories of people affected by
pancreatic cancer as told by their carers. These particular case
studies tell the stories of people who have died from pancreatic
cancer. They focus on some of the things they were able to achieve
after diagnosis.
The stories contained in these pages contain the views and
opinions of the individuals who have written them and do not
necessarily reflect the views of Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Raymond's Story of Mary's Struggle with Pancreatic Cancer -
"Do my eyes look yellow", Mary asked me in late May 2008. "I'm no judge", I replied, "best ask Anne-Marie when she arrives". Anne-Marie, our daughter visited later and confirmed Mary's fears.

Trevor's story of his wife Christine, diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2009 -
My wife Christine collapsed just two weeks after her 59th birthday. Two weeks later she was diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer and was given less than six months to live. We had been married 41 years. I retired immediately to look after Chris & became her full time carer.
