Marketing and Communications Officer
Salary £25,500 - £28,500 per annum
Contract Permanent (a six-month role will be considered)
Hours Full-time, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Each year Pancreatic Cancer UK runs several integrated campaigns as well as supporting Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month (PCAM) each November which is a fantastic opportunity to engage existing supporters in the work of the charity. We enable supporters to raise awareness of the cause and provide the means for them to fundraise on our behalf. We also work collaboratively with other pancreatic cancer charities during the month.
We are seeking a highly energetic and organised Marketing and Communications Officer to build on the momentum of last year’s PCAM and provide support to the project teams running integrated campaigns.
The Marketing and Communications Officer will:
- Coordinate Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month (PCAM) 2018, supporting the project manager (Senior Communications Manager) and PCAM project team to deliver against our engagement and income targets
- Support charity-wide integrated campaigns, helping the organisation to raise funds, engage with service users and supporters and raise awareness of our work.
You will have managed cross-organisational projects with experience of running digital fundraising campaigns. It is essential that you are proactive and can manage a busy workload whilst working well in a team, whilst building good relationships across the organisation.
