Senior Database Officer

Reporting directly to the Database Manager, this is an exciting new post within the expanding Data Team which sits in the Corporate Services department. The Data Team are responsible for the management of all supporter data held on the charity’s CRM database (Raiser’s Edge). The team provides support for a diverse range of stakeholders across the organisation in support of our fundraising, communications and campaigning activities.
In liaison with the Database Manager the successful candidate will oversee and take responsibility for a range of data related processes and initiatives, including the development and management of import routines, ensuring that supporter and financial data is accurately captured and uploaded onto the database according to agreed schedules. You will also be involved in the development of database queries and reports and undertake exports and data segmentations. You will also oversee the interface between the Raiser’s Edge and the email marketing platform ensuring that the two platforms are synchronised and ensuring that opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes are accurately captured.
- Educated to degree level or have equivalent work experience with significant experience with CRM platforms and the charity sector.
- Understanding of how databases are used to support fundraising and manage supporter relationships.
- Familiar with database architecture and hierarchies and data management processes.
- Proficiency with a number of IT platforms, in particular Excel.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and provide support for a diverse range of stakeholders in a busy office.

Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Location: London SE1
