We were delighted that actress Alison Steadman presented our BBC Radio 4 appeal earlier this month, calling for your help to change the future for people with pancreatic cancer. In the appeal, Alison talked about her mum’s battle with pancreatic cancer 21 years ago and her shock on discovering how little progress there’s been in the treatment of the disease in that time.
About Pancreatic Cancer UK
Currently less than 7% of people with pancreatic cancer survive for 5 years or more after diagnosis in the UK. Pancreatic Cancer UK is taking on the disease by funding innovative research to find the breakthroughs that will change how we understand, diagnose and treat pancreatic cancer.
How you can help
By giving a gift of £40 today you can help fund an hour of cutting-edge research, led by some of the brightest minds in the field. Your gift can help Pancreatic Cancer UK researchers make the discoveries now that will transform the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
