Vitality London 10,000
The London 10,000 is one of the UK's most popular 10K runs. This highly popular event takes place in England's capital city passing London's most iconic landmarks.
What: The route which inspired the Olympic Marathon Course begins on The Mall and follows a clockwise route around the City of Westminster and the City of London. You will pass famous sights including, Nelson's Column, St Paul's Cathedral, Mansion House, Bank of England, The Monument, Millennium Bridge, London Eye, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. Returning down The Mall you will finish in front of Buckingham Palace to a crowd cheering you down the home straight.
When: The date of the 2018 race is TBC. It is normally on the last bank holiday Monday in May.
Participation: Runners of all types take part in the famous 10K. From first timers to seasoned runners, everyone enjoys being part of the event and to soak up the terrific atmosphere of the day. Run with others or run solo, this event is perfect for everyone at every level.
Training & Preparation: This is a great opportunity to get into shape and to work towards a goal. Pancreatic Cancer UK provides a training guide so that your fitness increases at a sensible level so that you are on the best form for race day.
