Thames Path Challenge

A true test of stamina and determination - the Thames Path Challenge is no ordinary event. The challenge is to tackle 100km with a target time of 24 hours, 50 km in under 12 hours or 25km in 6 hours. Pancreatic Cancer UK are excited to be an Event Partner for the Thames Path Challenge.

What: The Thames Path Challenge is an endurance walk, jog or ultra-marathon along the unique Thames Path National Trail. You will be fully supported on the challenge with hot food stops at 50km, 75km and 100km and there will be pace walkers, medics and physios to help you too.

100km - a 24 hour walk or ultra marathon run from Putney Bridge to Henley.

50km - walk or run as a marathon-plus challenge either from Putney Bridge to Runnymede or Runnymede to Henley.

25km - four different walk options of 25km between Putney Bridge and Henley.

Participation: Anyone can take part (although there are age restrictions for young people). Sign up in teams of friends, colleagues or join as an individual and meet fellow participants along the way.

Preparation & Training: This is a tough challenge to complete. Preparation is key and will aid your enjoyment of the challenge whilst ensuring that your body is up to the rigors of the event.
