Come and see our research in action

Pancreatic cancer still holds many challenges for the research community. However, progress is being made all the time. Your commitment to Pancreatic Cancer UK continually ensures that we are pushing for solutions going forward. Your support makes an enormous difference to the work our researchers do all over the country.

We are delighted to welcome you to see some of the pioneering research you’ve made possible. We know our supporters and volunteers are passionate about supporting world-leading pancreatic cancer research, and a research visit is a fantastic way of bringing the research you support to life. You’ll be given exclusive access to the lab facilities at the University of Essex, Colchester and get rare insight into how you’re helping us to take on pancreatic cancer through the team’s research into stem cell therapy a possible treatment.

Zwacka

We’ll be meeting with Dr Ralf Zwacka (pictured left) who has benefitted directly from funding from Pancreatic Cancer UK, funding raised by you.

You’ll be introduced to the landscape of cancer research in Essex, and the research team will shine a light on their work into the development, diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.

We’ll then set off on a tour of the research centre, where you’ll have a unique chance to see inside a cutting-edge cancer research lab, meet the scientists you are funding, and see them in action.
