You’re the experts. Help us to help others.
If you’ve been personally affected by pancreatic cancer, whether you’ve had a diagnosis yourself or have supported a loved one, we would love to hear from you.
We want as many people affected by pancreatic cancer to have their voices heard. That’s why we’ve created our Involvement Community – a group of people with a personal experience of pancreatic cancer, who want to use their experience to inform our work and help others.
By joining this community, we will let you know about any involvement opportunities or ways that you can help, such as taking part in a focus group, filling in a survey, becoming a patient or carer representative, or feeding into the development of our charity’s plans and services.
What is Involvement?
Involvement refers to the different ways that people affected by pancreatic cancer can help to shape, support, influence, and in some cases deliver our work, and the work of other groups or stakeholders. You might also hear involvement referred to as user involvement, engagement, co-production or participation. Put simply, it’s our way of recognising that your experience matters.
What difference will my involvement make?
People who have been affected by pancreatic cancer are at the heart of everything we do. Every decision made by us is with the aim of improving the outcomes and experiences of people living with this disease.
With your help, we want to transform the future for people with pancreatic cancer. Your input won’t just help us to design and improve our own support services, but will help us to campaign for greater recognition, funding, research, and awareness of pancreatic cancer on a national level.
Join our Involvement Community Now
As a member of our Involvement Community, you can be involved as much or as little as you like. There’s no minimum commitment, and the Involvement opportunities we promote range in terms of time and location, with many opportunities being things you can help with from home.
Joining the Community is simple, and we’ll keep you informed of any new opportunities via a regular bulletin. We will also contact you by email or occasionally telephone if there are specific opportunities we think you might be interested in, based on your experience and interests that you share on the form.
Together we will make a difference.
