The Pancreatic Cancer UK Star Awards

Important information regarding the Pancreatic Cancer UK Annual Summit

After careful reflection, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone our Annual Summit following the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19). While those due to join us will share our disappointment in the delay to what has become a hugely popular opportunity to share knowledge and collaborate, the wellbeing of our community must always be our first priority.

With so many of the attendees being health professionals, who play a vital role in delivering the care people affected by pancreatic cancer rely upon, it would not be right to risk adding more pressure to colleagues across the NHS at this challenging time. People affected by pancreatic cancer are also an integral part of the summit as we bring the whole community together, their wellbeing is of paramount importance to us and we do not want to increase the risk of patients and their loved ones coming into contact with the virus. We look forward to bringing everyone together at a later date to help deliver the change needed to transform the future for people affected by pancreatic cancer.

We would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who nominated someone for a Pancreatic Cancer UK Star Award 2020 and to everyone who was nominated.

Nominations are now closed and we look forward to presenting the awards at our Annual Summit: Improving Outcomes Now on 30th March 2020.

Our judging panel will be busy in the coming weeks reviewing all the submissions as we look forward to celebrating the incredible work that people across the pancreatic cancer community have done for Pancreatic Cancer UK during 2019 and beyond.
