Health Professional Awards
Our Health Professional Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding contribution health professionals make to pancreatic cancer services. The work of these professionals is vital in improving the lives of people affected by pancreatic cancer, and we want them to know just how much they're valued.
Our Health Professional categories are open to any health professional working within the pancreatic cancer field and can include GP’s, Oncologists, Upper GI Specialists, Dieticians, Surgeons and Nursing staff.
There are two award categories available:
- Exceptional Award: this award is open to nominations from the general public
The Exceptional Award recognises the exceptional contribution an individual has made in working with Pancreatic Cancer UK beyond their core professional role in order to enhance the patient experience.
- Excellence/Impact Award: this award can only be nominated by health professionals
The Excellence/Impact Award celebrates any health professional whose vision and commitment have led to tangible lasting improvements in the quality of services offered to people affected by pancreatic cancer.
Nominations are now closed. Our judging panel will consist of a combination of Pancreatic Cancer UK Trustees, patients and carer’s and staff who will then choose the winners from the nominations. The winners will be informed in the new year.
