Run in partnership with Pancreatic Cancer UK and The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, this regional study day will provide an excellent opportunity to build on your knowledge and learn more about pancreatic cancer from diagnosis to living with cancer and end of life care.
Who should attend?
This study day is aimed at all doctors, nurses and allied healthcare professionals working in both hospitals and community settings who would like to be equipped with knowledge and skills to care for patients with pancreatic cancer.
By the end of the day participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate a better understanding of pancreatic cancer and how this relates to their practice
- Understand what treatment and care options are available for individual patients
- Identify how they will able to promote improvement in the care of patients with pancreatic cancer
We have a limited number of bursaries available of up to £50 to cover travel/accommodation expenses for those who wish to attend but whose trusts are unable to cover these costs. If you would like to apply for a bursary, please indicate this on the registration form (below). We will then provide you with an application form which will need to be signed by your manager and approved by us. Bursaries will be awarded on a first come first served basis.
