Find a clinical trial
Coronavirus (COVID-19) information: Due to the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), clinical trials are not recruiting any new patients at the moment. Speak to your doctor or nurse if you would like to know more about this. If you are taking part in a clinical trial, your medical team will continue to support you and provide information. If you have pancreatic cancer and have any questions about how coronavirus might affect you, you can speak to our specialist nurses on our free Support Line, or visit the NHS website.
You can find pancreatic cancer clinical trials nearest to you by using our UK Clinical Trial Finder. This is a searchable database that will allow you to filter your search by location or by entering a keyword (such as a trial name or drug).
The Trial Finder also allows you to filter your search for a clinical trial by:
- trials for operable pancreatic cancer - when surgery to remove the cancer is possible
- trials for inoperable pancreatic cancer - when surgery is not possible
- other trials - any other trial that does not fit in the above two categories.
The information that we produce on pancreatic cancer clinical trials is written in plain English for people affected by pancreatic cancer.
Talking to your consultant
If you find out about a clinical trial or are offered one, always talk it through with your consultant first. It is important that you know exactly what is involved in the trial before deciding to take part.
