We are delighted to announce that we have received a grant of £15,000 from the Garfield Weston Foundation.
The grant will go towards our Support and Information Services, which provides patients and their families with vital information and emotional support. Specifically the Garfield Weston Foundation grant will contribute towards the costs of developing our new online services and our new printed information literature.
Sarah Chilvers, Director of Operations at Pancreatic Cancer UK said:
“Pancreatic Cancer UK receives no government funding. Our work is only possible because of the generous donations of individuals, companies and Trusts and Foundations like the Garfield Weston Foundation. This is the first time that the Foundation has donated to the charity and we are thrilled to be in receipt of such a generous sum. It really will make a positive and tangible difference to the lives of patients with pancreatic cancer”
