Here at Pancreatic Cancer UK we know that we couldn't Campaign for Hope the way we do without the help of our dedicated supporters and fundraisers. Every single person who contributes their pounds and pence are important to us and the work we do - so that's a continuing thank you for every cake baked, every ribbon sold, every mile run or walked or cycled.
So with that in mind, we just wanted to highlight a couple of fantastic pieces of fundraising that have recently gone above and beyond for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Firstly, following the sad news of Steve Jobs' death, RealMac Software very generously donated any proceeds from the sales of their apps on the 6th and 7th to Pancreatic Cancer UK in his memory. They raised just under $9000 over the two days and have - even more generously - rounded the figure up to $10,000 from their own pocket. Thank you RealMac Software team; your kind gesture will really help us Campaign For Hope.
And secondly, we wanted to say a great big thank you to Robin Arbenz who is walking Coast to Coast for Pancreatic Cancer UK in support of his wife who was diagnosed with the cancer and has raised over £10,000. If you want to support Robin in his walk from St Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hood's Bay in North Yorkshire, click the above links to find his Twitter and Just Giving pages.
If you have a fundraising story (and any pictures to go with it!), email all the details to firstname.lastname@example.org and we might be able to feature it here on our blog.
