Annual Summit 2019: Accelerating Success
Thursday 14th March 2019, London
Pancreatic Cancer UK’s Annual Summit 2019: Accelerating Success is an essential event for anyone with an interest in pancreatic cancer. We welcome health professionals, researchers, policy makers, charities, patients, carers and our supporters to join together to share, learn, network and collaborate.
We know that pancreatic cancer is the toughest cancer to diagnose, treat and survive. 1 in 4 people won’t survive a month, and 3 in 4 won’t survive a year. This is unacceptable and it is up to us, the pancreatic cancer community, to act. It is vital that we accelerate success in the diagnosis, treatment and care of pancreatic cancer.
Accelerating Success will focus on recent significant developments in diagnosis, treatment and research and provide an opportunity to share our experiences and learn from the experiences of others. The programme will enable you to choose to focus on the area most relevant to you, as well as hear plenary keynotes and contribute to debates to inspire thinking on how we, as a community, can unite to give people affected by this tough cancer the fair chance of surviving that they deserve.
The Annual Summit 2019: Accelerating Success is not to be missed. Join us to accelerate success in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer, and the care of those affected. It’s free to attend, you just need to register to reserve your place.
Future leaders in pancreatic cancer, currently undertaking a PhD directly in or related to the condition, are invited to enter our poster competition. The winner will be awarded £300 and will be invited to present at the Summit. There will also be two runners up who will receive prizes of £100 each and all posters will be displayed at the Summit. The deadline for submission will be Tuesday 18th December. Please see full details.
