Clinical Research Training Fellowships

We also offer Clinical Research Training Fellowships (CRTFs) in pancreatic cancer that are jointly funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC). These Fellowships provide up to three years' support for clinically qualified, active professionals to undertake specialised or further research training within the UK. Fellows are required to register for a research degree, normally a PhD, based on research undertaken during the fellowship.

The CRTFs provide a competitive personal salary up to but not including NHS consultant level, and funding of up to £20,000 per year. This may cover consumables, equipment, conference travel, PhD and other course fees. Proposals requesting costs outside these limits will not be considered.
