Coping with Symptoms

Online support session

Our Coping with Symptoms support sessions are run by a specialist nurse, and offer a chance to:

  • Meet other people affected by pancreatic cancer
  • Learn about managing symptoms including pain and fatigue
  • Share your experiences and get support

While we can provide an overview of symptom management, no two people are the same, and we may offer to follow up with you after the session to discuss your individual situation in more detail.

If you’d mainly like support with digestive symptoms like weight loss, nausea, indigestion and diarrhoea, you might benefit from joining an online support session on Managing Nutrition and Pancreatic Enzymes.

Who is this session for?

This session is for people with pancreatic cancer, and their loved ones.

If you’re a healthcare professional, please check out our dedicated support for you.

Can I come to more than one?

Each Coping with Symptoms session will cover similar content, but it will vary depending on who joins and which symptoms they’d like support with. You’re welcome to come to as many as you’d find helpful.

People who joined us have said:

These sessions are so important in linking up with other people who know exactly what you are feeling and what you are having to cope with. There is an option to sit and listen to the presentation and conversations or join in if you have a particular problem you want to discuss.” – Linda from Eden Valley

“Continuous learning, and more guidance than anywhere else.” – Kevin from Lincolnshire
