A tribute byCarol Leipee

My mum Edna Leiper died on August 23rd 4 months following her diagnosis. Mums pancreatic cancer like many many others was inoperable. She elected not to have evasive treatment but opted for palliative pain relief. It has to become if the most horrendous forms of this awful disease for both patient and family. Mums death was quite harrowing nobody should have to go through that. We need more research and awareness. If you display a combination of the many of the symptoms you should be referred immediately for CT scan and not waste time and money with ultrasound, endoscopothy. Still very raw and painful without mum but really hope more awareness can prevent so many deaths.
