A tribute byJune Weaver
Cousin John was an inspiration to us all. He accepted the diagnosis but refused to be miserable about it, maintaining his cheerfulness to the end, believing he would beat it. If love could have cured him he would not have died. The number of people at his Funeral and Wake was amazing and spoke volumes of respect for John from relations, friends, colleagues etc. He was a happy, fun-loving man, a true gentleman who will be sadly missed by us all, none moreso that his devoted wife, Carole. Fondly remembered always.
