A tribute byAnne-Sofie Geelan

On the 12th of April 2015, my father passed away a few days short of his 59th birthday, after a 5-year battle with this deadly deadly disease. Although he is no longer with us, does not mean the fight against Pancreatic Cancer is over. After seeing how completing a half-marathon in March 2015 supporting Pancreatic Cancer UK touched my father's heart, I promised him I would continue to fight this battle for him through raising money and running (a true passion of his).
I have now managed to successfully complete an additional 4 half-marathons since April 2015 and am now the Cross Country captain at my university in honour of Pops.
A day never goes by where I don't think of you, Pops <3
