My beautiful Mum died one month after her diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, on December 28th 2017. No words can really express what she meant to us, or the loss that we feel after her death. She was a kind and generous woman; quiet but focussed on the things that meant something to her. She was beyond proud of us, her children, and made sure we knew how much we were lived. In diagnosis, she maintained a grace and dignity, merely saying ‘it is what it is’. She died just days after her 67th birthday and was cheated out of her retirement and grandchildren. Rest in peace, Mummy: We will love you forever.
