My Dad was a wonderful man, diagnosed at 59 and taken 9 months later, far earlier than he should have been. He had symptoms in the previous years that the doctors missed, and it is cruel that he will miss so much. He lived his life as a good man, always thinking of others, clever, silly, steadfast, gentle, and braver than we ever realised. He shaped those he left behind by the example he set, and we will miss him every day.
