I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer in 2010. It was very quick. He'd been on a once in a lifetime CRUISE with my mum. They went off fine. Dad was ill on the 2nd week and spent most of it in the onboard hospital. Mum got him home and he died 6 weeks later. Nothing anyone could do, it was horrific. I miss him every day. I lost my mum to cancer last year, it was also horrible. I left work and nursed her myself until she passed on 24/9/18. Don't know which was worse, losing dad so quickly or watching her deteriorate every day. l love you mum and dad and miss you both every day x
