My father Philip Albert Lewis was a gentle and funny lover of community and music.
He died aged 71 of pancreatic cancer in September 2018 after his symptoms were mistaken for those of Parkinson's Disease (which he had courageously lived with for almost 20 years). His father had also died at an earlier age of PC when my Dad was still a teenager. He leaves behind my mother, Judith, who herself has lived with too much cancer in her life.
It’s appalling how underfunded research into PC is and how bad survival rates continue to be. I hope we can change this for the next generation.
