A tribute byMichael Horn
My beloved wife was taken from us on the 23rd of September 2017 after a very short battle against this insidious disease. It took only 7 weeks from diagnosis to her passing!
We had been married almost52 years and she had been a marvellous wife, mother and grandmother, the last role she absolutely loved. We have seven grandchildren, five boys who live locally and who we saw a lot of as they got older and two girls who lived away but she loved doing girlie things when they came and stayed
Her first reaction when she knew about the illness was that she wouldn't see her grandchildren grow up.
She was a wonderful person who was well loved by all who came in contact with her and it has left the whole family and friends missing her greatly.
