Artist Maggi Hambling has generously donated one of her recent paintings, titled Fireworks Over the Sea, to support the work of Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Winner announcement – 17th December 2025: We are very pleased to announce that Richard from Cambridge is our winner of the Maggi Hambling painting ‘ Fireworks over the sea.’ Richard is delighted to have been selected after entering the prize draw in memory of his dear friend, Kip Gresham, who died from pancreatic cancer in 2024.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Prize Draw. You helped us raise a total of £74,728. These funds will allow us to continue our vital work supporting people now and funding research to transform the future.

With this donation, Maggi would like to honour her close friend, Candida Lycett Green, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2014. Candida, daughter of Poet Laureate, John Betjeman, was a British author and journalist.
