To make much-needed breakthroughs in pancreatic cancer research, it is vital that there is an understanding and awareness of resources and expertise that currently exist within the community.
Following input from the pancreatic cancer research community, we have created a resource map to capture this information which can be used by researchers to see which resources currently exist.
The aim of the Research Resource Map is to act as a signposting tool to enable researchers to see what resources exist and who to contact for follow-up conversations about accessing these resources.
How does it work?

- The Research Team will review your request and, if accepted, will grant you access to the resource
- Follow the instructions on the resource webpage to navigate the resource
- If you are interested in a particular resource, you can get in touch with the researcher using the contact details provided in the platform.

Are all the submissions secure?
Yes, it is. Access to the resource needs to be requested first. Once the research team has reviewed the request, they will then determine if you can be given viewing access to it. The webpage cannot be accessed without permission being granted by Pancreatic Cancer UK’s Research Team first.
Who can access the Research Resource Map?
Any pancreatic cancer researcher who would like to use the information on resources, samples, databases and expertise to facilitate collaboration.
