The Big Picture - Pancreatic Cancer UK’s patient registry
How you can help build the biggest ever picture of pancreatic cancer diagnosis, treatment and care
Join us to find out more about The Big Picture, Pancreatic Cancer UK’s Patient Registry.
Existing patient studies often fail to capture people with pancreatic cancer and therefore we’ve never had a complete picture of pancreatic cancer care. In order to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer, we launched the patient registry earlier this year with the aim to understand people’s real experiences of diagnosis, treatment and care.
People who have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, or their loved ones, can add their experiences to The Big Picture by completing our online survey. Since it launched in May, hundreds of people have already added their experiences, which will be used to influence and inform Governments and NHS leaders across the UK about where things need to improve.
In this Webinar, we will take a look at The Big Picture, what it is, why we need it and how the data will be used – including a first look at some of the data we have collected do far.
We’ll also hear from healthcare professionals about their experiences of referring patients, and how they hope to use the data we collect in their work.
Finally, we’ll discuss how we can support you to signpost your patients to The Big Picture, and how together we can build the evidence we need to improve the lives of people facing pancreatic cancer.
