Guidance on the PERT shortages

There continues to be intermittent shortages of PERT across the UK. We know that this is affecting some patients’ ability to get PERT.

A group of specialist pancreatic cancer dietitians and cystic fibrosis dietitians, have developed guidance for health professionals. This guidance provides advice for prescribers and dietitians on what to do if a patient is running low or cannot get PERT.

This is updated as and when new developments are made and the up to date guidance will always be available on the PSGBI website.
