    Gill, diagnosed with ampullary carcinoma in 2008.

    I was diagnosed on December 12 2008. CT scan following ultra-sound and My GP had observed my symptoms over about 4 weeks, during which there was significant weight-loss, loss of appetite, fatigue and ultimately jaundice. I was sent for an ultra-sound scan followed by a CT scan, which found I had ampullary carcinoma.

    Dean, 41, diagnosed with an ampullary carcinoma, had the Whipple procedure and is due to have chemotherapy.

    My journey began like a few others I’ve read whilst trying to find glimmers of hope from other people’s experiences, with the yellowing of my eyes and then, more noticeably, my skin.

    Angela was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic adenocarcinoma in March 2016.

    My GP had referred me because several blood tests showed that my amylase levels had remained significantly raised months after my gall bladder was removed. The consultant said there was nothing wrong with me, my amylase level was only mildly raised and there are lots of people walking around with raised amylase.
