Walk 10,000 Steps a Day in November and help fund research breakthroughs.

We’re facing a pancreatic cancer emergency. It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers. Sadly, for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case.

But there is hope. Take on the 10,000 Steps a Day in November Challenge and join us to help fund research breakthroughs and raise vital awareness.

There’s just four simple steps you need to take to get started with your challenge!

  1. Join the Facebook group
  2. Register for your FREE t-shirt and fundraising pack
  3. Set up your Facebook Fundraiser and begin fundraising
  4. Start your challenge on 1st November

We are running a Prize Draw in the ‘10,000 Steps a Day in November Challenge’ Facebook group every week throughout November for everyone who fundraises for this challenge. See below for the full terms and conditions.

Weekly Prize Draw Terms and Conditions


  • Entries into our prize draw are free of charge to anyone who meets the criteria specified for the draw.
  • Your fundraising page must be in lieu of the Pancreatic Cancer UK 10,000 Steps a Day in November Challenge (2020) in order to be entered.
  • Your fundraising must be via either a Facebook Fundraising page, Just Giving, Virgin Money Giving or bespoke Pancreatic Cancer UK fundraising page hosted by Funraisin.
  • Your fundraising must be received by Pancreatic Cancer UK by the date noted on the prize draw, each week:
    • Prize draw 1 hosted on Facebook on 3rd November – Page must be set-up and first donation received by 6th November
    • Prize draw 2 hosted on Facebook on 10th November – Minimum of two donations must be received by 13th November
    • Prize draw 3 hosted on Facebook on 17th November – Minimum of £29 must be received by 20th November
    • Prize draw 4 hosted on Facebook on 24th November – Minimum of £100 must be received by 30th November
  • The prize cannot be exchanged for an alternative gift or cash.
  • Pancreatic Cancer UK do not take responsibility for any damage to the prize gift, for example in transit.
  • Pancreatic Cancer UK may change the gift promoted.
  • Pancreatic Cancer UK will require your postal address for the gift.
  • You will be entered into the draw automatically if you meet the criteria, but you can ask to not be included by emailing fundraise@pancreaticcancer.org.uk or calling 020 3535 7090.
  • There will be one winner per prize draw.
  • The winner will be chosen at random by a Pancreatic Cancer UK staff member using a random number generator.
  • If you are successful, Pancreatic Cancer UK will contact you to ask if you’d be happy to be tagged in a winners’ post. You may decline to be tagged in the post, but you can still win the prize.
