Lake District Ultra Challenge
Join our team and take on 100k, marathon, half marathon or 10K around the stunning Lake District.
Walk, Jog, or Run the Lake District Challenge and take on England’s finest countryside at your pace. Choose your distance – the full challenge Kendal loop, or a half challenge, quarter challenge, 10km or our new Lake District Marathon distance. Test yourself on a fantastic Ultra Challenge – suitable for all experience levels – and you’ll get the best support & hospitality all the way. Our Challenge Base Camp is in Kendal. From there it’s a full challenge anticlockwise loop taking in a couple of tough hills to Ambleside, a half way point by Lake Windermere, forests, and nature reserves, with some stunning views en route – before a huge welcome and celebration back at Base Camp after a momentous journey.
Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement. As Pancreatic Cancer UK are an official partner on this event, you get a 50% discount on the ‘Full Sponsorship’ registration fee when signing up to support us.
Your support means our nurses can be here for those affected now and we can fund vital world-leading research and campaign for change. Whether you’re running for someone affected by pancreatic cancer, in memory of a loved one or for everyone affected by pancreatic cancer, every step you take will help to transform the future.

Charity Sponsorship
If you choose a charity funded place, you will be required to meet the minimum sponsorship below. 50% of this will need to be raised 3 weeks prior to the challenge.

£10 Registration Fee | £100 Fundraising Target
Please note that 30% of your fundraising will cover your event costs. It is your legal obligation to ensure that your donors are aware.
Mixed Fundraising
You can choose to fund half your event costs yourself, and the other half will be funded by Pancreatic Cancer UK. You will be required to raise 50% of your minimum sponsorship target below 3 weeks prior to the challenge.
