PCAM Skydive Frequently asked questions

Here we answer any questions you may have.

Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

When is it?

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. It is a time to spread vital awareness of pancreatic cancer, so we can inspire more action, drive more change, and deliver more breakthroughs for people affected by pancreatic cancer.

Do I have to Skydive in November?

Ideally we would love to have as many people skydive in November, however, if you’re unable to do so you can still take part and skydive in a different month.

Fundraising

What are the fundraising options?

You have two fundraising options:

Charity place:

  • Registration fee: £70
  • Fundraising target: £500
  • Depending on your airfield – 30-50% of the £500 will cover the cost of your skydive
  • To secure your spot, you’ll need to have raised 80% of your fundraising target 2 weeks before your jump

Self-funded:

  • Registration fee: £70 + the cost of your skydive (these vary depending on the airfield you select)
  • Fundraising target: You can choose!

How do I collect my fundraising?

We recommend setting up a JustGiving page which you can link directly to the Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month campaign.

To set up a page please click here.

Alternatively you can collect cash donations and record them on our Sponsorship form.

What happens if I don’t reach my fundraising target?

If you have selected a charity place and don’t raise the £500 by your jump you will be asked to cover the cost of the skydive yourself.

However, we have a dedicated events team who will help and support you to reach your goal.

Where do I pay in my fundraising?

All donations raised via your Pancreatic Cancer UK online fundraising page will be automatically sent to us. If you have raised money offline you can send them in

  • By post: please send cheques by post to – Pancreatic Cancer UK, Queen Elizabeth House, 4 St Dunstan’s Hill, London, EC3R 8AD (Please do not send cash through the post)
