Let’s Be Heard in Scotland
If your experience of pancreatic cancer was impacted by the pandemic this is your opportunity to share your experience with the Inquiry and we encourage you to take part.
The independent Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry has launched Let’s Be Heard: Sharing Scotland’s COVID Experience.
Let’s Be Heard is the main way people can share their experiences of the pandemic with the Inquiry, and any lessons they believe should be learned from the response to the pandemic in Scotland.
We know that during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic the NHS came under immense pressure and some pancreatic cancer treatment was delayed by up to two months. Thanks to our incredible supporters, we made sure the voices of people affected by pancreatic cancer were heard by the NHS and UK Governments during the first waves of the COVID-19 pandemic through our No Time to Wait campaign.
If your experience of pancreatic cancer was impacted by the pandemic this is your opportunity to share your experience with the Inquiry and we encourage you to take part.
Who can take part?
Anyone living in Scotland, or affected by decisions made in Scotland, between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2022.
How can I take part?
You can share your experiences on the Let’s Be Heard website until 31 October 2023. Printed forms are also available on request and from GP practices, care homes, community pharmacies, public libraries, and community centres throughout Scotland.
