About the Services Reach project

Pancreatic Cancer UK has launched a new five-year strategy: Detect early. Treat better. Save lives.

Our new strategy sets out the steps we’ll be taking over the next five years to double survival rates and give a better quality of life to everyone affected by this devastating disease. We need to increase awareness of our services and reach more people affected by pancreatic cancer so that everyone has the opportunity to be supported through their experience. The Services Reach project has been set up so that we can make bold changes in how we operate our services to create a leap in our impact, making our new strategic goals possible.

The Services Reach project will explore how we can extend our service reach to increase length and quality of life for people affected by pancreatic cancer. The Services Reach project team is made up of people from across the whole organisation. As part of our strategy we will enrich our perspective by listening to and involving people with personal experience of pancreatic cancer in every aspect of our work. Which is why it is so important we include people with lived experience as part of this project. Your role is vital in helping to transform the future, together we are a force for change that cannot be ignored.
