There are several ways in which we raise awareness, including through the distribution of our leaflets and publications, our website, and by building relationships with individuals and groups across the UK. However, it is a huge task so we are always happy to hear from volunteers who are willing to help us with this.
Take our symptoms quiz
Far too many people don't know the symptoms of pancreatic cancer. Help raise awareness by taking and sharing our symptoms quiz.
Raise awareness online
Help us to raise much needed awareness online by sharing our symptoms poster on Facebook and Twitter.
Join in with our campaigns
Look out for our awareness campaigns, including Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, as we often ask you help us raise awareness in specific ways.
Could you help us in your local area?
- We are keen to hear from volunteers to help take our information leaflets to hospitals, doctors' surgeries, community centres, libraries, carers' centres, and places of worship in their local area.
- We also need assistance at events from time to time, for example at regional cancer events or national conferences. Could you help man a Pancreatic Cancer UK stand at an event? This role would suit you if you enjoy meeting new people and sharing information. Your travel expenses will be reimbursed, and we'll provide everything you need.
If you think you can help with either of these roles, please complete the form below and tick the 'raising awareness' box.
At Pancreatic Cancer UK we take your right to privacy very seriously.
