Northern Ireland: Nutritional management in pancreatic disease

We teamed up with dietitians from across Northern Ireland again this year to deliver this free, two-part event on nutritional management in pancreatic disease, for dietitians and CNSs based in Northern Ireland.

Part one on 13th November explored the surgical management of pancreatic disease and nutritional management of acute and chronic pancreatitis.

Part two on 20th November explored the nutritional management of pancreatic cancer and type 3c diabetes.

Who are these sessions for?


These sessions are designed for dietitians (band 5 and up) and clinical nurses specialists.

The content is relevant to those practising in Northern Ireland that work with people with pancreatic diseases.

What platform will this session be hosted on?

These sessions will be held on Zoom Webinar. After you book, you will receive an email via Zoom with the joining details. You can join on a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone – any device with an internet connection. As an attendee your video won’t be visible to other attendees, the host or speakers.

If you don’t have access to the internet, you can also dial in from a standard telephone.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

Everyone who joins the sessions live on the day will get access to their certificate of attendance upon filling in the feedback form. Certificates are only available to live attendees.

Will the session be recorded?

Yes – where the speakers are happy to be recorded. If speakers do not wish to be recorded, then we won’t share the recording of their presentation. After each event, we will email all registrants with a link to the recording and presentation slides. So if you’re unable to join the live session, you will be able to catch up at a later date (unless a speaker has opted out). For the best experience and to ensure you get to see the speaker presenting, we recommend joining live.
