Living with Pancreatic Cancer Support Days
Our Living with Pancreatic Cancer Support Days are a place of support for you if you have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and you will get the chance to:
- Meet and chat with others diagnosed with pancreatic cancer
- Listen to short talks exploring different ways of living well
- Meet one of our specialist pancreatic cancer nurses
These days are free to attend and you’re welcome to bring family members or friends with you.
Postponing Living with Pancreatic Cancer Support Days
Following the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) we have taken the difficult decision to postpone our Living with Pancreatic Cancer Support Days until further notice. The wellbeing of people affected by pancreatic cancer is of paramount importance to us and we have taken this decision to avoid increasing the risk of patients and their loved ones of coming into contact with the virus.
As an alternative to attending a day, our specialist nurses will be available through our Support Line to talk to you about the topics we would usually cover, such as managing symptoms or nutritional support. You can chat confidentially about anything that might be concerning you or ask any questions you have including any worries about COVID-19. Do give our nurses a call on Freephone 0808 801 0707 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are now running online support sessions. Find out more information and book a place.
