Feedback on our Support Line service
Your feedback is extremely important to us and we welcome this at any time from you if you have used our services. We have designed two quick feedback forms for you to let us know what you think of the Support Line and Discussion Forum. You can fill these in at any point, or alternatively you can give us feedback over the telephone or via email.
You said, and we did
We would like to tell you about changes we have made as a result of your feedback.
“We would like to use the Support Line service evenings and weekends”.
We are introducing some trials of evening hours on the Support Line to see what the uptake is.
We’ll be building on this as we receive more feedback so the more you tell us, the more we can do!
Some of the feedback we have received from people who have used our services:
"I don't know how to thank you for the fantastic support and information you have given us. I feel, now having contacted and heard from you, that we have the most wonderful support we could have asked for. Only by chance I picked up the leaflet today in the hospital and thank goodness I did. I will be in touch again soon. But I want to re-iterate what an incredible difference it makes to all three of us that you are there and so compassionate, understanding and wanting to help."
"It was a tremendous help to have access to reliable advice and information. It meant we could ask the doctors/ GP the right questions and helped us feel more in control of my Mum's care because we were better informed."
"It is a very professional service. The nurse was very experienced."
"In times of absolute desperation, Dianne was the voice of reason and was the most caring and genuinely concerned nurse I had dealt with. She really did care even although I was at times angry and in total despair. She also listened to me although I'm sure her time is precious. What a helpful amazing service, specifically for this awful disease. Well done to all involved. You have been invaluable."
"It feels like a lifeline - there is someone I can contact who will give a professional response but in a way I understand. I was amazed and delighted with the speed that I received answers to my queries. A very special thank you to Jeni."
"The nurse was so helpful and kind, the question that I needed to know involved some research on her part and I am very grateful for that. She didn't rush me when I was telling her all that had happened, she listened carefully and I felt that I was talking to a close friend."
"Both nurses are very easy to talk to, even under difficult situations. Nothing was ever too much trouble. It is reassuring, although not satisfactory, to find out that many other people have similar experiences to ours in respect of diagnosis & treatment"
