Pancreatic Cancer UK’s partnership with Aviva and Friends wins a Third Sector Award

Our partnership with Aviva and Friends raised over £91,000 and picked up a prize at the Third Sector Business Awards in 2022.

We are so pleased to share the amazing news that our partnership with Aviva and Friends won an award at The Business Charity Awards 2022.

The team won the award for ‘Challenge Event of the Year’ – where they won recognition for their brave and inspiring fundraising in memory of two former team mates who sadly died of pancreatic cancer.

“Not only did colleagues from across the business come together to support Pancreatic Cancer UK, but they also recruited their clients, friends and families to take part too. From running marathons, sponsored walks, and weight loss challenges to a 220 mile cycle ride, golf events and even a gala dinner. No stone was left unturned.

In just ten short months the team raised £91,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK – three times their original goal. I am very lucky to have been a very small part of this fantastic community effort.

Congratulations to everyone who took part and supported us during this partnership. It was a true pleasure to get to work with you all. I have no doubt that Paul and Paula would be so proud of you all”. Amy Hannagan, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Pancreatic Cancer UK

Thank you so much to everyone for your hard work and dedication. Winning this award is the charity’s first for corporate fundraising, and we couldn’t be prouder.
