“Creating 12 regional Local Volunteering Groups throughout the UK will help us reach everyone who needs us. It will amplify our voice and influence and reflect the communities we support."
Lynn Quigley, Volunteer Lead at Pancreatic Cancer UK
Nearly 19.5 million people volunteer in the UK, giving their precious time to good causes. Here at Pancreatic Cancer UK our amazing volunteers give their time to support us in a variety of ways; all contributing toward our vision that everyone with pancreatic cancer survives to live long and well.
Pancreatic cancer is a tough one, but we’re taking it on together. No matter how much time you have to give, we have some great volunteering opportunities that might just be the perfect fit for you.
The experience provides me with encouragement and hope that something is being done to address pancreatic cancer patients’ needs.
This is from a volunteer that supports Side by Side, a Pancreatic Cancer UK service where people facing or having had pancreatic cancer surgery can speak to a trained volunteer who has already had pancreatic cancer surgery.
As one of the fortunate few survivors of pancreatic cancer, I feel motivated and passionate about sharing my experience and representing other patients to ensure that their voices are heard.

We’re expanding our volunteering community to build upon our local presence, build influence and raise vital funds, throughout the UK.
As a result, we are creating two new volunteer roles:
