Payroll Giving is a really easy way for you to help bring more than hope to everyone affected by pancreatic cancer.
Did you know a gift through your salary will be worth more to us while costing you less?
This is because donations are taken from your gross pay each month before tax, meaning a £10 donation would cost you no more than £8.
Wondering if payroll giving is right for you?
Your generous support will enable our researchers to continue making vital breakthroughs in early detection and treatment, and make sure our specialist nurses can provide expert support to everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer.
We only need a few details, but no banking information.
It will cost you less.
You’ll be giving more than hope.
The impact of your support:
While a regular gift is set up via direct debit from your bank account, payroll gifts come directly out of your salary, before tax. Your HR/ Payroll department will set everything up for you, meaning you do not need to share your bank details, and these donations will come out of your salary before tax.
It is a simple and cost-effective way to donate.
As donations are taken automatically from your wages they will stop when you leave your job.
But, we hope that you will continue to give to us at your next job.
Contact your new employer to see if they have a Payroll Giving scheme in place or set it up again by completing our online form.
You will need to notify your payroll department in order to stop any donations you are making.
Yes – simply contact your payroll/HR department to let them know and they will update it. You can increase or decrease your donation at any time, so you’re always in control.
Because your donation is made through your pay, it’s already tax effective. This means that we will have already received the maximum donation and won’t need to claim Gift Aid on your donation.
If you receive an occupational pension and your pension provider deducts tax through the PAYE system, you are still eligible for the scheme. Simply ask your occupational pension provider to set up a donation from your pension before tax has been deducted.
