Do you have pancreatic cancer and struggle to digest your food?

The pancreas makes enzymes which help to break down food. This is part of digestion. Pancreatic cancer and surgery to remove the cancer can cause problems with digestion. You might get symptoms like weight loss, diarrhoea and tummy pain.

Readily available tablets can change that, but half of people with the disease are never prescribed them.

The tablets are called Pancreatic Enzyme Replacement Therapy (PERT). Common brands are Creon®, Nutrizym® and Pancrex®. They can help manage symptoms and build strength for treatment, and can make a big difference to how you feel.

We are here to make sure everyone who needs them has access to them, and can live life to the fullest.
